The Keys to Success
Overview Look at the 'figured it out?' layout. The three boxes indicate that this puzzle consists of three mini puzzles (A, B and C). Their order is irrelevant.
Hint A1 Notice the letters on the keyboard. Focus on the changes.
Hint A2 Some keys change into the letters M, O, R, S and E. Try to find a rhythm in when they do. And what's with that "I'll repeat" all the time?
Hint A3 To recap: the melody has a distinct rhythm with a *lot* of pauses. At every long pause a letter changes. The melody repeats itself after each "I'll repeat", and we should use MORSE to decipher this code.
Hint B1 The second puzzle has something to do with colours. Notice something special on all the instances where key colours change?
Hint B2 The common link has something to do with the text. Try to find the connection between colour and text.
Hint B3 Each coloured key has a line above that contains a word that itself contains the colour of the key. The red key for example has the word cREDibility above. We know the answer of this mini puzzle has either 4 or 6 letters, and there are six coloured keys. What is the final common link between all coloured instances?
Hint C1 This is the hardest of the 3 mini puzzles. It has something to do with the compass, keys, screeching sound and text.
Hint C2 The screeching sound is linked to a specific key on the piano. That link is emphasized by the capital letter in the text.
Hint C3 There is one element that keeps repeating each time the weathervane screeches: the keys of the computers keyboard creak as well. Notice anything on the compass?
Hint C4 To recap: we now have a letter (key played at the screech of the weathervane + capital text), a direction, and we have to do something with a QWERTY keyboard.
